The patient had a benign (non-cancerous) skin lesion along the right temple. This skin lesion was excised. The first photo was taken before excision. The second photo was taken 14 days after excision. Note how the scar has already started to fade.

The patient had a benign (non-cancerous) skin lesion along the left side of her face. This skin lesion was located near a natural crease along the face. The excision was planned to allow the final scar to sit within this natural crease, making it less visible. The first photo was taken before excision. The second photo was taken five days after excision before the sutures were removed. The last photo was taken seven days after excision, with the sutures removed. The scar is visible and red within the first month after excision and will fade with time.

Neuromodulators
The effects of neuromodulator treatment can be appreciated here. The patient is frowning in both photos. After neuromodulator treatment, the lines between the eyebrows are decreased in appearance. The eyebrows themselves are lifted slightly, resulting in a less angry and more relaxed appearance.

This patient has great skin quality. However, lines due to repetitive muscle activity were becoming visible along the forehead and in the area between the eyebrows, even when the patient was not frowning or raising her eyebrows. Neuromodulator treatment was performed, targeted to the area between the eyebrows and the forehead, to decrease the appearance of lines, widen (slightly) the space between the eyebrows, to result in smoother appearing skin and a more relaxed appearance.

Soft tissue fillers
The patient is seen here during the course of her lip volume enhancement treatment. She naturally has a pleasant lip shape with a well-defined Cupid’s bow along the upper lip. This lip shape was enhanced, and volume was added to the upper lip while maintaining the definition in the Cupid’s bow. Volume was also added to the lower lip to maintain the appropriate proportion between the upper lip and lower lip. The first photo was taken prior to any treatment. The second photo was taken immediately after dermal filler injection. The white film covering the lips is residual from the topical numbing cream that was applied. The last photo was taken two weeks after dermal filler treatment of the lips.

This patient was seen for lower jaw rejuvenation. She has excellent bone structure with some classic changes to the lower face consistent with volume loss. She wanted a subtle, natural appearing result. One of her main goals was a natural appearing enhancement of the lips. In order to have a natural looking result, the lips have to be of a certain proportion to the lower jaw and chin. Dermal filler treatment was performed first in the lower face to restore volume to the lower face, elongating the chin slightly to create a more heart-shaped appearance to the face and creating the structure in the jaw line contour to allow for lip enhancement to appear natural.
